Bring a garment from your own wardrobe that you’d like to alter, mend, or up-cycle, and learn practical and creative techniques to help you breathe new life into your clothes. As well as more typical alteration and mending techniques we will also explore creative ways of re-imagining old and worn out garment by adding textile decoration such as patches or textural coverings using remnant fabrics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp lang=\"en-US\"\u003eThis course is perfect for anyone who wants to extend the life of what they already own, whether it’s shortening a pair of pants, reshaping a shirt that no longer fits, patching your favourite worn-in jeans, or reimagining an old garment into something new.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp lang=\"en-US\"\u003eAcross the sessions you’ll be guided through useful and adaptable methods for altering fit, repairing damage, and creatively up-cycling.
