LANGUAGE

This class will be taught in English but one of our class teachers will always be on hand to offer individual discussions in Swedish if this is your preferred language.

DESCRIPTION

In this course you will learn to make a patchwork t-shirt using the Helgrose TEE pattern from the the book Sewing With Scraps. Bring 2-3 old worn out or damaged t-shirts to re-purpose into something new! The method used in this course will be zig zag patchwork which you can do on any at home sewing machine. We will guide you through the steps of planning your patchwork, sewing together, and completing your TEE. 

WHAT'S INCLUDED

All sewing machines, tools and equipment. You will also have access to our textile library of fabric offcuts and scraps, in cottons and linens, to use as a highlight in your TEE.

WHAT TO BRING

2-3 damaged or worn out T-shirts to up-cycle. Think about choosing colours that you like together, tone on tone or pop colours. Ideally your fabric should be 100% cotton and not have too much stretch in it (so a classic kind of basic t-shirt fabric with a bit of structure to it)
